What does a Landscape Inspector do?

On a daily basis our members are responsible for:

  • Inspecting and approving landscape installations
  • Managing and recommending landscape ordinances
  • Reviewing landscape and development site plans
  • Insuring proper tree care through enforcement of landscape ordinances
  • Plant material is in compliance with Florida Department of Plant Industries’ Grades and Standards

    • Municipal and County Commission expert testimony
  • Continuing Education for Professionals
    • Conduct an Annual Certification Review and Examination to become a Certified Landscape Inspector
