When and How Local Governments Can Enforce Regulations

LIAF Miami-Dade Chapter is hosting a webinar on July 14 from noon – 1:00 PM Via Zoom with Mr. John Harris, Earth Advisors, Inc. about updates of the new tree law in Florida (FS 163.045). John will define key terms, including hazardous tree, imminent hazard, or risk, reducing risk level to below moderate, and other terms and parts of the Statute. He will include examples for reports; one good, one bad. He will also talk about cities and counties being able to enforce either tree protection codes or minimum zoning requirements.
