Working outdoors in Florida comes with unique challenges. Dr. Pinkerton will share practical insights to help green industry professionals recognize, avoid, and respond to common stings and bites encountered in the field.

Presentation: Safety Is in Your Hands: Every Dig. Every Time.
A simple goal: reduce risk, prevent damage, and keep job sites safe. John will discuss best practices for excavation safety, the importance of contacting 811 before digging, and how proper planning helps protect people, property, and infrastructure.
Special Lunch & Recognition
This month's meeting will include recognition of Donna Corbelli Castro as she retires after years of dedicated service to UF/IFAS, LIAF, and Florida's green industry.
To honor Donna's many contributions, the meeting will begin earlier than usual and include a luncheon and recognition presentation.
