LIAF was proud to host our annual event on Tuesday, November 19th, welcoming industry professionals for a day of networking, learning, and collaboration. Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and explore the latest innovations in the landscape industry.

The educational sessions featured dynamic presentations on today’s most relevant topics, with LIAF CEUs provided. Approvals for CEUs from ISA, FNGLA, FACE (Code Enforcement), DBPR (Landscape Architects), and FDACS (Certified Pest Control Operators) are currently in progress, ensuring maximum value for attendees.

LIAF was well represented at the Florida ISA’s 2024 Trees Florida. President Kevin Hunt spoke as part of the panel Working Together in the Green Industry along with representatives from FUFC, TREE Fund, FNGLA, TCIA and the Florida Forest Service. In addition, THREE Past Presidents of LIAF received major recognition at the conference. Kim Pearson received the President’s Award of Merit, Wade Collum received the Award of Distinction and Henrique Mayer received the Award for Excellence in Education.

December 2023: Proper tree pruning session conducted by LIAF, in partnership with several Urban Foresters from Pompano, Coconut Creek, Ft. Laud, & Sunrise and Broward County. This was a refresher course for approximately 40 FDOT maintenance crew members.
