TOPIC: RAINFALL TRENDS OF 2025  & IPM Tool Kit

Meet Our Speakers:

 

Doug Mayo

Doug Mayo is an agricultural extension agent for the University of Florida Extension in Jackson County and serves as the Jackson County Extension Service director.  He received a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Florida in 1987 and a master’s in agriculture education and communication in 2004.  Mayo has worked with UF/IFAS Extension for the past 29 years.  Doug will speak on Rainfall trends in Florida from the first quarter of 2025 and the rainfall predictions for the balance of 2025.

Francisco Sicilia, Arborologist. 
Francisco Sicilia graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness. He has over 17 years of experience in the green industry as a maintenance and account manager with various companies, such as Brightview and Tropics North Landscape Maintenance. He will be speaking on the IPM Toolbox Approach and Treatment. FDACS CEU has been applied for.
